It’s just not the same, well for me that is. Maybe it’s because my family has gave up on the whole “Christmas Spirit” thing. Maybe it’s because my family no longer puts up a Christmas tree and decorates. Maybe it’s because my family no longer buys gifts, just gives cash, no cards along with it, no presents, straight cash. It’s just looking like my family grew out of the whole Christmas thing. I’m not complaining, I’m just saying. But I do feel bad for my little sister because she’s barley had a handful of real Christmas’s.

Just cause it’s a trip how time flew by. It’s bitersweet. As much as I miss it all, I hate it. I still remember everything, the skin peeling off my palms, never healed til’ mid-junior year. Sounding off during practice til’ my voice died out. Running to practice to fight for the guide-ons. Getting in line for my rifle, #52 “Brenda”. Pushups. Humiliation, Pizza-Donut. Book Checks. Last 15 minutes of Company Time. Through all the bullshit we went through from competition to competition, didn’t phase us. Damn. To see where we started and how hard we tried every day to what it has become bothers me. When I hear about something bad happening or something, I put up a idgaf front, but really, something inside me ticks and I wanna revert back to the MCG mentality and go back and fix it.. But I can’t do anything about it, my times over.
